National Post – After giving up spring break and summer barbecues, cooped-up Canadians are looking forward to the day when things go back to normal. But COVID-19 isn’t like a natural disaster that strikes once, then fades away.

As many anticipated, the arrival of fall has caused the number of active cases to spike in regions across the country. Hospital workers have asked the government to roll back reopening measures in several hotbeds, like Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area.
