Hollywood Reporter – This is not the first time the social media platforms had to take action due to the president attempting to spread false information about the pandemic or upcoming election.  Both Twitter and Facebook took action on Tuesday morning after Donald Trump posted that COVID-19 is no more dangerous than the common flu — a lie.

Trump made a big to-do of his return to the White House, taking off his mask and then making a social media video in which he told the American people not to fear the virus, which has killed more than 210,000 and counting.
