National Post – The extreme limit on outdoor gatherings (you can just move about with your household) is perhaps the harshest social control measure ever introduced in Alberta, even in wartime. It will be illegal over the holidays to socialize with anyone outside the immediate household. Returning kids are only legal if the home is their permanent residence.

This is exactly what Premier Jason Kenney was anxious to avoid when he brought in new measures two weeks ago. But they didn’t work because too many people would not comply. Now we have this tough regime at least until mid-January.
