National Post – Despite repeated government pledges that Canada would rescue imperiled interpreters and other Afghans who worked for this country, only a small fraction of them are being airlifted out of Kabul, say advocates for the local employees.

About 90 per cent of the people Ottawa has flown from Afghanistan are Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Afghan descent, estimates Dave Fraser, a retired army general with the group Veterans Transition Network.
