. San Francisco Combatting Flash Mob Looting by Limiting Access to Stores Ahead of Holidays « JO LEE MAGAZINE

Mayor London Breed announced that the city will limit car access to the city’s popular shopping district, Union Square, in response to the mobs of thieves that have ransacked high-end stores in recent days.  “We’re going to be making some changes to Union Square and how cars are able to access,” Breed said at a press conference Saturday. “There will be limited access in terms of when you come to this area.” Breed’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment for details on the changes. Local media reported it’s unclear when the changes will be implemented, and if they’ll come right as the holiday shopping season is set to pick up following Thanksgiving on Thursday.
